Located on the 3rd floor of the hospital, the Endoscopy Department shares the same floor as the Diagnostic Imaging specialty. All surgeons performing procedures are highly skilled specialists. The Hospital has many top-tier surgical experts, and in addition, maintains deep and extensive cooperation with leading surgical experts from central-level hospitals who come to directly perform operations.
Endoscopic surgery is being increasingly widely applied. Compared to conventional surgery, endoscopic surgery offers many outstanding advantages:
▪️No need to make large incisions in the areas requiring surgery: for example, there is no need to open the abdomen, chest, joints, etc.
▪️Short hospital stay: patients are usually discharged after just 1–3 days;
▪️Short recovery time: since there is no need to open body parts, endoscopic surgery has less impact on the patient’s overall health;
▪️Aesthetic assurance: since no wide incisions are needed, scars from endoscopic surgery are generally much smaller compared to conventional surgery;
▪️Overall cost is much lower than that of conventional surgery.
World-Class Operating Room System
The Hospital has 10 operating rooms, designed and equipped to international standards. The operating rooms are divided into: (1) Positive-pressure operating rooms, and (2) Negative-pressure exhaust operating rooms. The operating room system is specifically designed to meet the requirements of specialized surgeries such as: endoscopic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, obstetrics and gynecology surgery, neurosurgery, abdominal surgery, orthopedic surgery, etc.
Equipment Imported from Germany
To ensure the quality of surgical procedures, the Hospital’s entire surgical equipment system is directly imported from Germany. The equipment includes: open-surgery instrument systems and endoscopic surgery equipment sets sufficient to perform all procedures, from simple to complex
