The Department of Surgery at Hai Phong International General Hospital is located on the 7th Floor of the Hospital’s 23-story building. The Department has 67 inpatient beds in five-star hospital-standard accommodations, including 16 single rooms (one bed per room), 10 double rooms (two beds per room), 9 larger rooms with three beds each, and 1 intensive care room with four beds. All patient rooms are equipped with medical gas systems, central suction systems, private en-suite bathrooms, and handwashing facilities for healthcare staff following patient examinations.

In addition to its modern inpatient facilities that meet international standards, the Hospital operates 10 internationally standardized operating rooms located on the 5th Floor. These include one laparoscopic operating room, one cardiac operating room, six general operating rooms, and two operating rooms designated for patients with infectious conditions. All operating theatres are equipped with advanced anesthesia systems, positive-pressure ventilation systems for sterile surgery, and negative-pressure suction systems for infectious procedures.

The surgical complex is designed with dedicated clean corridors at its center, while separate surrounding corridors are used for the transport of surgical instruments and postoperative specimens, ensuring optimal infection control and compliance with international surgical standards.
