- MEDICAL ACTIVITIES
PhD, Resident Physician Hoang Van Dung is a leading expert in the field of Musculoskeletal Medicine. He worked at the Department of Musculoskeletal Diseases at Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi, for 15 years (2005-2020). He is a former member of the Party Committee Executive Board of Bach Mai Hospital for the 2014-2019 term, and former Vice Principal of Bach Mai Medical College (2014–2018). In addition, he is a Standing Committee Member of the Vietnam Rheumatology Association’s Executive Board, Secretary General of the Hanoi Osteoporosis Association, and an annual attendee at the Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR) Annual Scientific Conference.
Throughout his career, PhD Dr. Hoang Van Dung has contributed to the writing of numerous textbooks, specialized monographs, and training materials, making a significant contribution to medical education in general and to the Musculoskeletal specialty in particular. Notable works include the monograph “Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Internal Medicine Diseases – Bach Mai Hospital – Medical Publishing House, 2007,” as well as “Diagnosis and Treatment of Common Musculoskeletal Diseases – Medical Publishing House, 2009,” and “Diagnostic and Treatment Protocols for Common Musculoskeletal Diseases, Vietnam Education Publishing House, 2013.”
PhD Dr. Hoang Van Dung is actively involved in teaching, serving as a concurrent lecturer at Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam National University Hanoi, and Hanoi University of Pharmacy. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific studies on the research and application of new methods and technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases, and is the author or co-author of nearly 50 scientific articles published in well-known domestic medical journals.
