Proudly recognized as the first laboratory in Hai Phong to achieve ISO 15189:2012 accreditation, the Department of Laboratory Medicine provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, and pathology.

Our laboratory services support the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of diseases for both inpatient and outpatient populations, as well as individuals undergoing routine health checkups.

The Department of Laboratory Medicine is staffed by a highly qualified team comprising 01 PhD, 01 Specialist Level II Physician, 01 Master’s degree holder, 04 Specialist Level I Physicians, 02 Laboratory Specialist Level I professionals, 28 Bachelor’s degree graduates, and 06 College-level Nurses.

With many years of professional experience, the department’s staff continuously update their medical knowledge and adopt advanced laboratory techniques to enhance their expertise and ensure the highest quality of service. This commitment enables the department to meet the growing diagnostic and healthcare needs of patients and clients effectively and efficiently.

The Department of Laboratory Medicine is equipped with a fully automated, state-of-the-art laboratory system featuring advanced analyzers and modern diagnostic equipment. All testing procedures and quality control processes are conducted under strict protocols to ensure the highest levels of accuracy, reliability, and consistency in laboratory results.
